Farrell falls for Bill & Hill

In THE NATION, Denver Post (6/20/04) reporter John Farrell’s piece entitled, Clinton’s travails enrich triumphs, the writer gushes over Bill and Hillary to an embarrassing extent. Such quotes as, “The Clinton charm…won him the love of one truly formidable gal” and “you could not watch them dance…. and deny that their love was real” made me feel as if I had accidentally stumbled across John Ferrell having a private Clinton moment in his john. Most of the reporting, regarding national political figures, in the Denver Post makes me angry as (it) tries to tear down the motives and accomplishments of Republicans and enshrine those of Democrats. Farrell’s article made me feel like an unwitting “Peeping Tom” being forced to watch this Clinton lap dog hump for Bubba one last time – Yuck!
